In an effort to minimize the number of re-occurrences of injuries among players, Southwest Hockey is providing guidelines in which concussions and significant injuries should be handled.

Included in these guidelines, is a SW Hockey Policy as well as resources from Hockey Canada, CATT Online, and an overview of the 'Six-Step Return to Play Chart'.

Hockey Canada Concussion Awareness

Hockey Canada is committed to maintaining the health, well being and safety of all its participants. Hockey Canada encourages sound educational programs, in order to increase awareness of concussions and return to play process.

CATT Online Concussion Awareness Tool

The Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT) is a series of online educational modules.  The course for Coaches and Parents is FREE!  Although the course information is the same, the quizzes within each course are different for each audience.
