Light Up the Tree on Tree is a 3-on-3 tournament for U13, U15, and U18!!

The goal is to provide a fun, competitive experience for players in our older divisions, and the opportunity for them to play with friends they may not normally play with in-season. Free flowing, pond hockey style, with amazing holiday themed jerseys!

General Information

  • Opportunity to play in a FUN 3on3 Event with your friends.
  • There will be a maximum of (4) teams in each U13, U15 and U18 age group.
  • For U15 & U18 – No Body Checking.
  • Submitted teams will be reviewed and approved to ensure there is a balance of divisions.
  • Games will be officiated by Central Region Officials
    • Any applicable suspensions would be carried out as per league game rules.  See Rules for details.

Registration Eligibility

  • ALL participants must be registered on a Hockey Canada Roster for the 2023-2024 season.
    • Registrations will be verified to confirm that the participant is registered to the correct team roster.
    • Registrants must play in the division that coordinates with their Hockey Canada roster.
    • This event is not open to those registered to any private leagues. For example; HSL.
  • Submitted teams will be reviewed and approved to ensure there is a balance of divisions.

Fee & Payment

  • The Assistant Director of Development will send a link to the Team Contact to register after your team roster has been approved.
  • FEE - $1000 per team
    • Depending on team composition (# of players per team) the avg cost per game, per player is $21 to $28
    • Includes a unique holiday themed jersey
  • Payment to be made in full no later than DEC 1, 2023
    • Payment is only accepted by team.
    • No individual payments accepted.
    • Payment can be made by e-transfer or credit card. There is an additional processing fee for credit card payments.
  • Confirmation of your program registration will be communicated by the Assistant Director of Development no later than DEC 2, 2023


  • The event is subject to cancellation, and entitled to full refund if there are insufficient registrations.
  • Teams who withdraw are subject to a $200 non-refundable admin fee.
  • NO refunds after DEC 3, 2023 at 6:00pm MST

  • Scan Page 1, of your Team Composition for approval to the Asst Director of Development.
  • Once approved, you will be provided with a registration link.
