HCR ID (Spordle Account) / 2026-2027

The "HCR / Spordle Account" is intended to give access to information such as;

  • Your "existing" HCR ID# ---> you need your HCR ID number to start your registration!
  • The Shift Forward / Respect in Sport
  • Playing History
  • Coaching or Officiating certifications
  • It also lets you link your family members together in one place so you can see what is on each persons account

Returning Members (Players AND Coaches) - If you played sanctioned hockey in Canada (as a player or a coach) - you would have an HCR ID #. If you don't remember your HCR ID # or no longer have access to the email you used to set up the account, scroll down to the --- "HCR ID - Locked out of Spordle".

Note: Always use the specific Player or Coach birth date and their legal name. Example: If the Coach goes by "Bill", but legal documentation is under "William", the account would have been set up under "William".

New Members - If you are completely new to hockey and have not played in a sanctioned program in Canada, you'll need to create an HCR ID #. Instructions are below with how to set up an HCR # for the first time.

HCR ID - FIRST SHIFT OR JR FLAMES

Participants who were in a First Shift Program or JR Flames Program through Hockey Calgary, likely have a Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) account already!

Follow the "Transfer" steps at the bottom of this page to begin the  process so we can gain access to your existing account.

HCR ID - NEW MEMBERS

This is for NEW MEMBERS who need a Hockey Canada Registry ID # ("HCR ID")  because they have not played in a sanctioned hockey program in Canada.

HCR ID - RETURNING MEMBERS

HCR ID - LOCKED OUT OF SPORDLE
