Evaluation schedules

The schedules are created as a "print friendly" version. Be sure to review the "Notes" on each schedule! It is also important to note that it is the members responsibility to stay up to date on any changes in your division.

'MONTH OVERVIEW' DRAFT CALENDAR

While this schedule is subject to change, we wanted to provide our members with a general idea of the days their participant(s) may skate.


HOUSE LEAGUE (U9 & U11)

There will be two (2) evaluated skill-based sessions (Skate 1 & Skate 2) to determine overall skill set. Teams will be made equally; to ensure they are balanced.

U7 - community

There will be two (2) evaluated skating sessions (Skate 1 & Skate 2). Each consisting of three (3) drills to help determine player strengths.

U9 - Community

Southwest will utilize a combination of skill sessions and split ice scrimmages for U9 evaluations.

U11 - Community

Southwest Hockey will utilize a combination of skill sessions, split ice scrimmage and full ice-scrimmage based sessions for U11

U13 AA - ELITE

For the 2026-2027 season Southwest Hockey will again have a U13 AA team that will compete under the Alberta Elite Hockey League (AEHL) banner. As such, the evaluation process for this team will look different than our traditional evaluation process.
